The Community on NBC is one of my favorite new TV Shows. This past week’s episode was a Halloween special where the entire school turns into zombies, thanks to some expired Army/Navy rations. Troy, one of the lead characters saves everyone by turning the air conditioner on to fight the virus. In the end, the government comes in and wipes everyone’s memories of the zombies, except for one phone call. The last scene, Troy watches a video message during the zombie attack and is wearing the Mobile Edge Academic Backpack. The show airs 8/7 c on NBC.

If you watched last week’s episode of NBC’s Chuck, you would have seen where Buy More’s Office Manager Morgan, tested out just how efficient the new CIA Agents were at keeping the store neat and tidy. In his view, the store was a little too neat and tidy.
Morgan tried to mess the isles up by tossing random products to the floor, including the Mobile Edge Maddie Powers Sheba Messenger Bag. An agent comes down the isle doing several cartwheel-like back flips and then cleans up the laptop case. Funny scene for sure.

Mobile Edge continues to expand their presence on full featured movies and a variety of television shows now on ABC, NBC and Fox.
Today, I had the chance to meet with the Prop Master from ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.”
I brought their team several new Mobile Edge products including EVO Backpacks, our Eco-Friendly Messenger Bag, our stylish Women’s Express Backpack, a Blue Sumo Camo Messenger and an 18” Sumo Folding Furniture Cube.
After visiting the set located on Warner Bros Ranch Studio and understanding the premise of the show, I think the variety of products I left today will work well for the show.
The show reminds me of a modern day Melrose Place only with teenage actors in High School. It’s a fun show and we look forward to working with their Prop Department all season.
I didn’t get a chance to meet Molly Ringwald, but I will make an effort to bring some “New” cases ironically when they film so maybe I can meet her.

That’s right, currently crews are working on Transformers 3 and should be in theaters sometime in 2011. I sent over a few Mobile Edge and Sumo laptop cases that are uber cool, and may be used by lead actor Shia LaBeouf (or is Megan Fox the lead actor???).
Keeping in mind is smaller stature, we hand selected cases that were leaner so they did not over power his character. Messenger Bags and stylish briefcases were my first choice to send to the Prop Masters. I also sent over a few Backpacks that may fit as well.
However, I think the new Sumo Professional Briefcase is the one the Prop Masters may end up choosing. It is very stylish, upscale and simply is a great looking case.
