Hi – Do you ship to Canada? Do you have any Canadian retailers? Really interested in your Komen Paris backpack. About time someone made a nice-looking computer pack for women!
    Cheers!

Thanks Marci. To answer your question, yes Mobile Edge products are sold in Canada at Best Buy for Canada stores. Additionally, our products are sold on the Dell Canada website. You can also buy online from the Mobile Edge website and use the MEBLOG coupon code to receive free shipping, however free shipping only applies to ground shipping within the Continental US. However, if you e-mail me I will send you a discount coupon code specific for you. Thanks for your post.

    Hello,

I would very much like to carry some of your line on our website, http://www.Mondebelle.com. What do I need to do to set up a wholesale account with Mobile Edge? We are very interested in the ladies laptop bags, especially the Susan G Komen line. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely,

I purchased a backpack for my daughter. She loves it. I would like to purchase one for my son. I see you have a spot to write a discount coupon. How do you get these. Thank you. Cassandra

Can you please make Komen bags that fit 17in laptops?

  6. Matthew Olivoloon 24 Oct 2008 at 12:51 pm

    Leigh,

Thanks for your question and request. We do actually make three Komen Laptop Bags that will accommodate 17″ laptops. The three I am referring to arr the Komen MicroFiber Tote, The Komen Suede Tote and the Komen Full-Grain Leather Tote. All of which have a removable line that can be replaced with a 17″ insert.

I sent you a personal e-mail as well with links to the product pages. If you need any other information please let me know. Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Matthew Olivolo

I would like a TSA-approved messenger bag that would fit my HP HDX 18 which is 17.17″ (W) x 11.26″ (D) x 1.33″ (H). The TSA-approved backpack says it’s for 17″ laptops, will the HDX 18 fit in the backpack?

    - Jim

  8. Matthew Olivoloon 19 Nov 2008 at 4:22 pm

    Jim,

Thanks for your e-mail. Yes, the ScanFast Backpack will fit your HP HDX 18. I measured it myself and confirmed it will fit. Plus, we have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee as well, so if for some reason you were not satisfied you could send back the case for a full refund.

Congratulations on your purchase. Let me know if you would like to order a ScanFast Backpack, and we will get that out to you ASAP.

I am interested in the 8.9″ ultraportable computer sleeve (with pink accents). Could you let me know if it would fit an Acer Aspire One 6-cell battery model (as opposed to the smaller 3-cell)? Thanks.

  10. Matthew Olivoloon 01 Dec 2008 at 5:09 pm

    Elena,

Thanks for your e-mail regarding Ultraportable Laptop Sleeves. Yes, the Acer Aspire One 6-cell battery model will fit perfectly in the new Mobile Edge 8.9” Netbook SlipSuit. In fact, the Ultraportable Sleeve was made for this model specifically.

There are three styles to choose from, two with pink piping, two with red piping and a simple all black version. The three styles come in two sizes, 8.9″ and 10″ models.

    Cheers,

Do any of the “ScanFast Checkpoint Friendly Laptop Cases” for laptops with 17″ monitors have a Back slip for stacking on wheeled luggage ?

I travel/fly everywhere with my large laptop (Alienware m9750). These back slips have saved my back. :) Been travelling with heavy laptops for over 10 years, now. :)

    Respectfully yours,

    Tina V. Wright

  12. Matthew Olivoloon 05 Dec 2008 at 5:12 pm

    Tina,

Excellent question. The ScanFast backpack does fit 17″ laptops, but does not have the trolley strap you are referring to. Both the ScanFast Briefcase and Messenger Bag have the trolley strap, perfect for placing on rolling luggage cases.

The Alienware laptop that you have is an excellent choice. We are the exclusive manufacturer to make Alienware Laptop Bags. Check out our Alienware page on our site: http://www.mobileedge.com/laptop-bag-collections/alienware

I love my Paris backpack–I have the one in black & grey, but the material got wet after sitting on a wet cab floor and now I have an ugly “water stain” on the fabric. I’m thinking about getting the Onyx or TPS, but would love something in a brown. Any other colours and styles coming out?

I have to applaud Mobile Edge for your women’s line. I have always found the dull, over-the-shoulder black laptop bags to be uninspiring. I found them ugly and if you are carrying a few books or files, the uneven weight distribution hurts the shoulder/back. I love the professional-looking backpacks. The weight is evenly distributed and my hands are free to grab a coffee, answer the phone (which is conveniently nestled in my shoulder strap) or pull larger pieces of luggage. There is nothing else as stylish AND comfortable for the female business traveller. Keep up the great work!

I just received a SlipSuit that was ordered from Dell (which is where all of the computers come from where I am currently employed). It is a very nice case, and comes in very nice packaging – but since the very heavy duty plastic envelope it came in is zippered, does it really need a hole in it? People could feel the material by slightly unzipping the zipper, and the plastic package would be more protective without the hole.

When I first looked at the package I thought ‘Cool – a great storage bag’ – until I realized it had a hole in it. I mean, you’ve put a regular zipper in this bag, and it can’t really be reused for anything. It would make a great bag for packing cables, batteries, etc. Too bad it has that big hole in it.

    Hi Matthew,

I wanted to find out about carrying your products on one of my websites.

I am wondering if you work with smaller retailers as well as the larger stores such as best buy?

I am also wondering if you work with smaller, Canadian online merchants?

I would love to hear back from you.

    Thanks.

  16. Matthew Olivoloon 13 Feb 2009 at 5:35 pm

    Iris,

Thanks for your comments regarding the SlipSuit sleeve packaging. It really was intended to keep the sleeve clean on the retail shelf. It was not intended to keep after purchase. However, it is built strong enough to last if you did want to store it. We appreciate your feeback. If you have any additional questions e-mail directly at mo@mobileedge.com. Thanks.

    Chuck,
Thanks for your e-mail. We have a few cases that will fit exactly what you are looking for. In fact we just release a new Netbook Briefcase which will accommodate computers up to 13”, with ample room for additional accessories like DVD drives, etc. Click on the Netbook Briefcase page for more info. Hi, I was just wondering if you had any information on when the Alienware Orion Messenger Bag (not backpack) will be available to ship. I ordered the bag from dell and they keep putting the date back because they are not getting their supply from you. I very much want this bag but may have to opt for something else if I do not get mine soon. My Alienware laptop is better suited to this bag due to its weight and size but need something to carry it around it sooner rather than later. Thanks, Heather

We actually just received a new shipment of the Alienware Orion Messenger Bags today and they are now available on our website: http://www.mobileedge.com/alienware-orion-messenger.html

    Thank you!
